Turned out to be a really nice day. Sunny and mid-60s by the time I got out the door this afternoon. Easy run along the Sammamish River. I think the morning weather scared people off as I was almost all alone on a trail that can get pretty busy in nice weather. The Indy Mini officials updated the elite entry list and they've added a 1:01 half marathoner and a few other fast guys. Here's the updated list. It will be really cool if the secondary pack of 1:07-1:09 guys can hang together for a long time. I just realized I'm the oldest guy among the Top 21 people. From a running perspective, 40 can't come fast enough. I'm in this no-man's land of mid-30s that doesn't get you jack.

Joseph Mutinda just won the salt lake marathon. He dropped me with a 4:40 mile from 9-10, then his last half marathon was a 66-67. So he will definitely be faster than expected, Moses hasn't run that fast in a while. I expect Joseph to take him on the half.

Good Luck and enjoy running with all those great elites.

PS the Mid 30s age group is the hardest age group because it has the world record holder in it! ;)

Wow Gary Romesser is still going strong. He and Dean used to run together in the early 80's.

Fourty something is not all it is cracked up to be Sean ;-).

Good luck this weekend!!

Nice work Sean, I am impressed by your time. But then again you did some really good training to get there also.
